I Czech-German Regional CBC Forum in Chemnitz

The first Czech-German regional forum took place in Chemnitz (Saxony) on 30 November and 1 December 2023 at the invitation of the German State Ministry for Europe and Climate, Dr Anna Lührmann, and under the patronage of the German and the Czech Foreign Ministers, Annalena Baerbock and Jan Lipavský.

During two days, local, regional, national and European actors from Germany and the Czech Republic met in Dresden to discuss common challenges and joint initiatives that make cross-border cooperation along the Czech-German border successful.

Three stands were dedicated to actors from other border regions to showcase further successful initiatives:

  • The Frankfurt (Oder) & Słubice bus line, by the cities of Frankfurt (Oder) (DE) and Słubice (PL)
  • “Health without Borders” by the twin city Guben-Gubin (DE/PL)

The AEBR is particularly happy to have been part of this event, which brought together many actors of cross-border cooperation along the Czech-German border, and thanks everyone for their active participation and for having shared their success stories with other partners.
