b-solutions scientific publication now available online

CESCI, in collaboration with AEBR and under supervision of chief editor professor James W. Scott, recently published the pilot issue of the Journal of Advanced Studies on Borders, Cooperation and Development (ABCD Journal). This first publication focuses on b-solutions: in nine articles, leading researchers and practitioners in the field of cross-border cooperation analyse the impact of the b-solutions initiative.
The experts highlight lessons and reflections from b-solutions, each in their area of expertise. Among others, Caitriona Mullan explores the role of b-solutions for cross-border health systems.
The pilot issues is published by the UPS-CESCI Research Group on Cross-Border Cooperation and the University of Eastern Finland. Through b-solutions‘ impact, the publication aims to showcase innovative approaches to fostering integration and cooperation in Europe’s diverse border regions, looking at themes such as territorial governance, healthcare, labor mobility, and environmental collaboration.
